The National Banking and Securities Commission publishes studies on different topics related to the financial system, performed to analyze its situation and evolution, according with the CNBV´s commitment to promote the orderly and inclusive development of the financial system, in order to foster the wellbeing of the population as a whole.
The General Direction for Economic Studies also analyses the impact of new public policies issued by the CNBV, as well as of regulation that is still under development, with the aim of providing both a theoretical and a practical background regarding the banking system and its impact on the Mexican population.
