What is the CONAIF?
The National Council for Financial Inclusion is the consulting, advising and coordinating organism through with the financial authorities in the country coordinate to formulate, implement and monitor the National Policy for Financial Inclusion.

The President of the National Commission for the Protection of Users of Financial Services(CONDUSEF)
The President of the National Banking and Securities Commission(CNBV)
The President of the National Insurance Commission(CNSF)
The President of the National Commission for the Pension System (CONSAR)
The Executive Secretary of the Bank and Savings Protection Institute(IPAB)
The Treasurer of the Federal Treasury Office (Tesofe)
The Governor of the Mexican Central Bank as well as the Sub-governor of the Mexican Central Bank, designated by the Governor (Banco de México)
Política Nacional de Inclusión Financiera
The CONAIF is in the process of defining the National Policy for Financial Inclusion. The policy will guide the efforts, of all the Mexican financial authorities, aimed at promoting greater access and usage of financial services, in line with the characteristics and needs of all population segments.
The National Policy for Financial Inclusion is currently under review by the CONAIF, and it is expected to be formalized by the beginning of 2014. Through the enactment of the National Policy, the CONAIF will be able to launch several initiatives and projects that will contribute to the development of an inclusive financial sector.
